A 19th century etching of a city with stone buildings, several churches, a river full of sailing boats, a steam engine train, and numerous people taking "a walk in the park".29 3/4" x 17 3/4" overall.It is signed and dated, "Oliver, 1859". Nice gilt frame with wood backing. Behind the backing are two California newspapers, one San Francisco and one Sacramento, dated 1912.
